Mayilpeely is a monthly children’s publication for entertainment, knowledge, and insight. Started on a Vijaya Dasami day, that is, the 19th of October 1999, with the blessings of Kunjunni Mash (popularly known as Children’s Sage) Mayilpeely envisages balancing the much-required knowledge that the formal education cannot offer. For this purpose, Mayilpeely’s contents are selectively chosen exactly for children’s entertainment and insight – all written in plain language.
As the publication completes 25 years, Mayilpeely plans to go a step ahead covering the global students, especially the Indian students abroad. For this, Mayilpeely is going to be published also in English, customized for children in all states of India, and abroad. It also follows the requests of many Indians living abroad to help them connect their children to their own unique culture and traditions.
